embarrassed momAt times the fight gets discouraging…mommy porn, teen sex novels, pornographic banners in the mall! Hey, I recently watched a documentary, How to Live Forever, and right in the middle was a section about a Japanese man who made porn with older women. And they showed full frontal nudity…all before I could grab the remote and skip past it! Yikes!

And that documentary was on Netflix and NR for Not Rated! It was featured on NBC’s Today show and praised by AARP and many other mainstream organizations. Seriously?!!! fight-the-new-drug-logoThat’s when you need to find some allies! I found a great list of people fighting pornography on the Fight the New Drug website. They’ve compiled a long list of groups that are helping people avoid the trap of addiction or get out of it. Check it out! http://www.fightthenewdrug.org/Resources/ I hope Porn-Proof Kids, as well as my forthcoming book, Good Pictures, Bad Pictures will soon also be included. Until then, it’s great to know there are people out there who have the courage and will to speak up and fight back.
